Fresh fish, busy hands, and sushi made all night long. For a client event welcoming 800 guests at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, we brought our Sosaku Sushi station into one of New York’s most iconic cultural settings, the Temple of Dendur.
The station put the craft of sushi-making front and center. Our team prepped fresh fish, shaped nigiri, and hand-rolled sushi throughout the evening, giving guests a chance to watch the work behind each bite.
Over the course of the night, our team made 3,000 pieces of nigiri and 400 sushi rolls. At that scale, every detail matters: preparing the fish, shaping the rice, and keeping a steady rhythm as guests gathered around the station.
Our Sosaku Sushi station brings movement to a room. Guests can see the ingredients become finished bites, following the process from fresh fish to hand-rolled sushi.
At The Met, that live preparation added another layer to the evening. Alongside the museum setting, the station offered its own expression of craft, one guests could watch and taste.
