Pinch Food Design is a creative catering studio where food is the medium and design is the language. We create immersive, food-driven experiences at the intersection of design, hospitality, and production.
We’re looking for a Booker to join our Staffing Department full time. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on, solution driven person: someone passionate about people and operations, with a strong interest in growing within the event production field.
You’ll work directly with our Director of Booking + HR and alongside our entire onsite event staff, kitchen, production, and shipping team to ensure Pinch’s people are seamlessly at events, while running a strong, efficient, and well-organized staffing department.

70K-78K salary range depending on experience

Booking
Ensure all events are booked with appropriate staff | Cover last-minute call-outs using the Pinch roster
Communicate complete and thorough event details to staff | Investigate missing details or discrepancies in booking systems.
Communicate all staff changes/updates to event captains in real-time
Input staff hours after every event | investigate if there is missing hours
Solve staffing problems creatively and urgently
Forecast staffing needs for future dates | understand how to book agency
Event packing | inventory management
Compile all Lead Captain and Lead Chef Binders and Boxes -print-distribute
Uniform management | pack/unpack jumpsuits and aprons | coordinate laundry | maintain inventory
Create purchase lists for captain box and binders
Staff upkeep + interview
Understand staff strengths and weaknesses through captain reports and collaborating with the Booking Director
Manage and keep the most updated staff notes | grouping and time restrictions
Read all Captain reports | staff notes and restrictions
Collaborate with BD on staff growth tracks
Support with interviews | Set-up interviews | Conduct interviews | Send Onboarding details | Input all new hire information
Management + Communication
Attend the mandatory weekly production meeting | enter all booking notes
Attend event check-ins or stop by events if needed/requested by Booking Director.
Consistent and timely communication with staff
Accurate dialogue with staff regarding booking protocols
Collaborate with different departments in regard to placements, coordination, and staff meals
Inform staff of out-of-norm events and details | out of town emails, early morning emails, etc.
General
Assist BD on special Booking Department needs {regrouping staff, new systems, housekeeping, archiving)
Order all staff vehicles for out-of-town events
Truck Tickets | create invoices
Walkies | order and schedule pick-up times
Be the point of contact for anything Booking/Staffing Production related
