Pinch Food Design is a luxury, Chelsea-based catering company looking for an experienced event producer to join their production team. Candidates must be professional, personable, detail-oriented, efficient, motivated, and eager to jump into a hands-on, fast paced position. Client interfacing is necessary. Some nights and weekends required.

Salary range 85K-100K depending on experience
Schedules may vary seasonally due to the event season
2 weeks paid vacation + 5 weeks paid company holiday closing

EVENT PRODUCTION
Own an event's production from sale through on-site execution and post-event review. Including but not limited to:
Attending walk-throughs to develop a sense of event needs from venue and client.
Managing client correspondence post-sale, via elegant and respectful communication.
Organizing internal and client facing timelines + floor plans.
Applying for + collecting documents such as COI’s and liquor licenses.
Completing beverage + shipping orders.
Creating and completing rental orders through partner party rental companies.
Coordinating with design + shipping departments.
Assembling and distributing detailed information packets for event staff.
Coordinating and taking part in client tastings.On Site Event Management
ONSITE EVENT MANAGEMENT
Oversee set-up, service + breakdown as needed.
Troubleshoot onsite and communicate with event staff.
Develop strong professional relationships with onsite staff.
Candidate must work with urgency, possess excellent client- and internal- interfacing skills, and be solution driven.
General stress management, as well as maintaining a calm and controlled demeanor for clients, venue teams, and staff
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Manage and keep the most up-to-date event documents, including but not limited to: notes, floorplans, permits, timelines, packing lists, etc.
Production documents such as COIs, SLA permits, Worker’s Comp, etc.
