Mionetto Prosecco, a brand with a legacy dating back to 1887, launched its latest campaign - Born In Italy. Shared Everywhere. by hosting an immersive, three-day celebration in New York City. The event was an ode to Italo Disco vibes, La Dolce Vita, and the cherished tradition of the Italian Aperitivo. To bring this vision to life, Pinch Food Design partnered with The Gathery to design a dynamic, sensory-driven food experience that complemented the effervescent spirit of Mionetto Prosecco.

The task

  • Craft an authentic Italian aperitivo experience in the heart of NYC.

  • Curate a menu that perfectly complemented Mionetto Prosecco’s range, from classic to low-alcohol and non-alcoholic offerings.

  • Ensure the food remained exciting for attendees across all three days.

Our approach

Pinch Food Design collaborated with The Gathery and Mionetto to design a menu that elevated Italian flavors with innovative twists. Our approach included:

  • Food Furniture Integration: Custom-designed trays and serving structures, including our Wine Balloon Bar, Spike Pop-Up, and Orbit Pop-Up, to create interactive and visually stunning moments.

  • Elevated Italian Classics: Reinventing traditional aperitivo bites with unexpected textures and flavors, such as Cacio e Pepe Churros, 3 Times a Parm, and Soft Shell Mussel à la Crème.

Rotating Menu Strategy: A carefully curated selection of passed bites and desserts, ensuring that guests experienced something new each day.

  • Blueberry Tart: Blueberry pie tart with lemon filling

  • Tiramisu Choux: Coffee mascarpone, chocolate disk, cocoa powder

Each dish was carefully curated to enhance the Mionetto Prosecco experience, with signature cocktails served on the Wine Balloon Bar, including:

  • The Firenze: Mionetto Prosecco Brut DOC Treviso, St. Germain, club soda

  • The Venetian: Mionetto Prosecco Brut DOC Treviso, Aperol, club soda
