Prounis Jewelry

Prounis is a fine jewelry house rooted in Greek heritage and family history, known for its Greco-Roman aesthetic and 22-karat recycled gold pieces crafted using ancient techniques. Each design is ethically made and handcrafted in New York City, blending timeless craftsmanship with modern intention.

For their latest showroom presentation, Prounis invited Pinch to reinterpret the idea of a vintage, multi-tier wedding cake, transforming it into an edible centerpiece that echoed the brand’s history, artistry, and reverence for tradition.

We immersed ourselves in a deep vintage research phase, studying old-world wedding cakes, archival jewelry, and classical Greco-Roman forms. Our goal was to translate the elegance and symbolism of layered wedding cakes into a sculptural dessert that felt both historical and refined.

The final design was a four-tier vintage wedding cake, with each tier featuring its own distinct decorating style and technique, much like a curated collection of heirloom jewelry, where every piece tells a different story.

The result was a richly decadent, vintage-inspired wedding cake adorned with intricate royal icing details that mirrored the craftsmanship and luxury of Prounis’ jewelry. Finished with sterling silver vintage cake servers, the presentation seamlessly tied edible design to fine jewelry, an elegant, nostalgic moment that felt perfectly at home in the showroom.
