Sustainability is just as essential as taste and presentation. At Pinch, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact at every stage of your event, by purchasing local produce, donating to regenerative farming programs, and maintaining carbon neutrality.
This week, we partnered with GrowNYC, a leading environmental nonprofit to host an evening celebrating our sustainable food ecosystem, bringing together our community of farmers, chefs, and sustainability advocates who help NY local food network thrive.
Guests enjoyed a seasonal menu featuring produce sourced from New York–local farms through GrowNYC Wholesale and prepared by the Pinch chefs.
We hosted a panel discussion on the future of sustainable farming, and how these practices shape the work of NYC chefs, restaurants, caterers, and growers.
Panelists:
• Tutu Badaru Badaru - GrowNYC Assistant Director, Food Access
• zaid kurdieh - Norwich Meadows Farm Co-owner
None of this would have been possible without the collective effort of our community, from the farmers who nurtured every ingredient, to the chefs who transformed them, to the advocates working every day to build a more sustainable food system, and to everyone who chooses to work with us for their events.
Cheers to a sustainable, local future!
