A Tasty Year in Review

Welcome to the 2025 recap issue of The Pinch Digest, your go-to newsletter for fresh takes, bold flavors, and zesty ideas.

This year was packed with bold flavors and disruptive presentations. We catered Rosalía’s NYC listening party, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the ​MoMA Design Store remodel opening​, and the Rimowa and ​Monos​ launches in SoHo.

We hosted the ​NY Design Week opening party​, celebrated ​Vitra's new NYC store​, and brought Pinch magic to ​weddings all over the city​. Oh, and we even sculpted a ​Nike shoe out of butter​.

You're lucky we only had room for 10, we never stop designing:

2. ​Mobile Pop-Up​ - crispy tortilla sandwiches

3. ​Ice Plank Pop-Up​ - anchovy-lemon celery logs

4. ​Vase Pop-Up​ - extra-long pretzel grissini bouquet

5. ​Pool Interaction​ - floating ceviche bowls

6. ​Peg Table Interaction​ - savory cones

7. ​Night Bazaar Interaction​ - giant chirashizushi

8. ​Glow Table Interaction​ - cured sashimi menu

9. ​Pedestal Interaction​ - monochromatic NY-style cheesecake

10. ​Self-Stirring Bar​ - cocktails like Japanese whiskey + apple

This year:

• We ​partnered with GrowNYC​

• We donated our time to ​repurpose event florals​

• We taught a ​class for the City Growers Bee Ambassador kid​

• We taught a ​Food + Design class​ for the FONDO students

• And, we were featured in ​The New York Times​, ​Dezeen​, ​Business of Home​, ​The Wed​, ​Goop​, and ​more

• We hung ​posters across the city​

• We flash-mobbed a ​Pop-Up on the High Line​

• We hosted a ​35-person family meal​

• We ​collaborated with Korin Knives​

• Bob held his first ​gallery show​ at Pinch

• And, we launched our very own Substack (​subscribe here!​)
